Cornerstone Cup Karnataka Golf Festival 2017

Event date: 18th-25th November, 2017

Cornerstone Properties was associated with South India’s most prestigious golf tournament – “Cornerstone Cup Karnataka Golf Festival”, which was its 9th edition.

The tournament was played in one of India’s best golf courses, the Karnataka Golf Association (KGA) Golf Course. This event gave amateur golfers the platform to represent India at the Finals of the World Amateur Golfers Championship in Malaysia further emphasizing the magnitude of the event. The World finals was held from Nov 18th – 25th in Kuala Lampur, Malaysia.

This 4-day extravaganza witnessed the participation of golfers from across the country with leading sportsmen like Mr. Kapil Dev, Ms. Ashwini Nachappa, to name a few.

It was a great day of camaraderie, networking, playing golf and as someone has famously said” Golf is not a sport. It is a way of life. Live it. Love it.”

Cornerstone Cup Karnataka Golf Festival 2016

Event date: 6th-9th October, 2016

The Cornerstone Cup Karnataka Golf Festival (CKGF) was held at Karnataka Golf Association (KGA), Bengaluru, from 6th to 9th October 2016. In its 8th Edition, it has become one of the most sought after tournaments among club golfers throughout the country. Participation from over 425 golfers including Outstation Players from cities like Mumbai, New Delhi, Pune, Jammu, Chennai, Kolkata, Lucknow and Hyderabad speaks volumes of the popularity of the Cornerstone Cup. Cornerstone Cup KGF is the official qualifier for the prestigious World Amateur Golfers Championship (WAGC) held in Durban South Africa. Bangalore Golf Club (BGC) members bagged 3 out of 5 spots for the WAGC. BGC Golfers Amitabh Poddar, BK Prabhakar, Om Prakash along with MS Nagaraj of KGA and Prateek Pant from Bombay Presidency Golf Club (BPGC) were the fantastic five who represented India in Durban, South Africa in the Final of the WAGC from the 22nd to 29th October 2016, where the Indian Contingent finished 12th overall out of 22 participating countries.
